   game:    q2
   information:
Grotesque was at one point, to be one of two maps that I was asked to contribute to the ill-fated Dapak2 project. When that project died, I released this map on its own as broken3, as it fit that theme very well. This map was a switch from my previous q2 efforts as it actually felt like a q2 map in both proportions and design. It was my most spacious q2 effort, and also had many useless, but cool architectural features, such as the huge central tower. During the development of this map, I had constant support/design suggesions from headshot and ztn and as a result I feel it turned out very well, though I never received much response about it. A point of interest about this map: the second largest room, with the railgun, inspired the central room of another of my maps, called Dissonance.
