     Heavy Metal was by far my most well received map and came at a point where I was ready to quit again. It has a fast, multilayered, one on one design, through a very interconnected base layout. The style was initially heavily inspired The Killing Machine by ztn (which I still believe is the best q2dm ever created), but changed after some suggestions during testing. This map placed second in an Australian mapping contest, the name of which eludes me, and was my first review on the Ramshackle by Jeff Yost. I have received numerous requests over time to continue this map as a series of maps, but have never got around to it, as I didn't like working with the texture set. As a point of interest, the room shown in the second screenshot above was blatantly ripped from rtldm3, easily my greatest 'flop' of a map.
