The rtldm series contains the first q1 designs that I created and felt were good enough for pubic consumption - at the time anyway. In retrospect, the designs are very rudimentary when compared with the current standards and contain an overdose of 'editing traps traps for novice authors' such as enormous r_speeds, bad texture useage / combinations, boxy designs and grey flashes. All maps in this series were designed between August 1997 and September 1997 and a couple gained a small amount of recognition.

The pinion series are, in my opinion, the best maps I have ever designed. Each layout and texture were selected meticulously with great attention to detail. This is the reason why the development time on these three maps is about 18 months in total, though not continuously. Created between September 1998 and January 2002, they represent a significant amount of time and effort, and if nothing else, their completion, I feel has been the greatest accomplishment of my mapping 'career'.
